1. Open a file "Volume Keys.msi" you downloaded. if it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click next > next > check "I accept the terms in the license agreement" check box > next > next > install > finish.
2. Click start > all programs > Volume Keys.
The program icon shows at a notification area.
3. Settings : right click the program icon then select volume keys settings.
At increase volume,
Select the key to increase volume from the list and do the same thing at Decrease volume and Mute. Click close.
4. Control volume with keys you set, a splash indicator shows.
Not happy with it ?, try this freeware : 3r-1c volume control 1
