Instruction # 24 - CD Tray Control 1.2

1. Installing : open downloaded file. If it is unzip, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click start > next > yes > next > next > next.

Jan Weiland window opens, CD Tray Control Shortcut is there.

2. Open CD Tray Control Shortcut, CD Tray icon is at notification area. (system tray)

3. Close Jan Weiland window, CD Tray Control 1.2 setup window shows, click finish. Then click CD Tray Control icon at notification area, a new window opens, click Scan Computer for CD drives.

4. Click Drive name that you want to control with CD Tray Control 1.2.

Example, in the picture above, click G then properties for Drive G window opens, check Use this CD drive with CD tray Control check box.

At Hotkey, select hotkey to eject/load CD tray, I recommend Scroll button on keyboard because it a rarely used button.
Then click OK, press hotkey to check out how it works. If you have more than one CD Drive, you can use only one hotkey to control them.

Then click Minimize button.

5. Running program when Window starts : click start > all programs > right click Jan Weiland > Explore.

Copy file "CD Tray Control", find folder "startup" from the left pane ( tree view )

Right click folder " startup " then select past. Restart computer, test controlling CD Tray with hotkey.

If file "CD Tray Control" in startup folder is deleted, program will not run automatically when Window starts.....Done !
