1. Installing : open file " Diskmon.exe ". If your downloaded fie is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it.
Program opens.
In the picture above, click a clock icon (number 1) to change time format.
This window shows the time when your hard disk is working.
2. To find something you want, click a camera icon (number 2) , then type texts you are looking for, click find next, then click F3 to find the same texts.
3. History depth :it is for you to choose numbers of data from the past. Click options menu > history depth...
If you want program to show 100 data, fill in 100.
If you want program to show all data in the past , fill in 0 .
4. Showing status by color : click menu options > minimize to tray disk light.
Color red = your hard disk is writing.
Color green = your hard disk is reading.
double-click this icon to show information. To save the information, click menu file > save as... > follow the program steps.....Done !
