1. Installing : open your downloaded file. If it is zipped, unzip with 7Zip and open it. Then click yes > next > check "I accept the agreement " check box > next > next > next > next > install > finish.
2. "WhatsNew" file opens, close it. Select your language then click OK. Tab file associations opens.
File types this program can decompress are 7-ZIP, A, ACE, ARC, ARJ, B64, BH, BZ2, BZA, CAB, CPIO, DEB, ENC, UUE, GCA, GZ, GZA, HA, IZA, JAR, LHA, LIB, LZH, MBF, MIM, PAK, PK3, RAR, RPM, TAR,TAZ, TBZ, TGZ, TZ, WAR, XXE, YZ1, Z, ZIP and ZOO.
File types this program can compress to are ZIP, BH, LHA, BGA, CAB, JAR, 7-ZIP, YZ1, BZIP2, TAR and TAR-GZIP.
At tab explorer enhancments, you can change default archive type here.
3. To decompress file, place a compressed file in a new folder then right click the compressed file and select IZArc, the menus show.
Select extract here.
4. To compress file, right click file and select IZArc, the menus show.
add to archive file... = select a compressing file type before compressing.
add to (name of a file).zip = use zip as a compressing file type.
5. To create self- extracting, compress a file using one of these file types ZIP, ACE, ARJ, BH, JAR, LHA, LZH and RAR.
Then right click a compressed file, select IZArc then select create self- extracting ( .EXE ) file and click OK.
Click Yes to test self-extracting, locate a decompressed file by clicking 3 dot button.
6. To split zip file for sending via E-mail, I recommend your file name has no dots or spaces.
Click start > all programs > IZArc > IZArc.
Program opens, click menu tools > create multi-volume set > select a file at single archive to span.
Locate the output file at then name it at spanned archive name.
At volume size, select size then click OK.
The pattern of file name looks like this lzarc.z01, lzarc.z02 and lzarc.zip.
7. To merge split file, click menu tool > merge multi-volume set.
Select zip file (mine is "lzarc.zip") at spanned archive.
At converted archive name, name and locate the output file.....Done !
