1. Installing : open file "SETUP.EXE". If it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click yes > next > next > next > next.
Open setup window from the taskbar then click finish.
Open RamBooster window then open shortcut "Rambooster".
The program opens.
2. There are two ways to boost your ram.
a. Use an optimize button.
In the picture above, at number 1, slide the slider to the right to set the the Mb of RAM you want. Click Optimize.
The program might not reach the target.
Wait for a minute, at number 3 shows the Kb of RAM you can use.
Press and hold Ctrl, Alt and Delete to open a task manager, go to tab performance > physical memory.
See the number at available.
The number is almost the same figure.
b. Set Alarm level. The idea is when free RAM is lower than the level you set, This program will try to free RAM.
The alarm level is recommended is 10% of RAM you have.
Click edit > Preferences. The option : times to retry optimization should be set to 1-3 , then click Done.
3. The meaning of the symbols at a notification area.
Free RAM is more than 20% of RAM you have.
Free RAM is between 10% - 20% of RAM you have.
Free RAM is less than 10% of RAM you have.
This program is trying to free RAM.....Done !
