1. Installing : open your downloaded file. If it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click next > check "I accept the terms in the Licence Agreement" check box > next > next > next > next > finish.
2. The file types this program supports are BMP, JPEG, JPG PNG, PGM, PNM,PPM, TIF, JP2, GIF, DCM and HDF.
Open the program icon on the desktop. A new window opens, click open file to select a folder that stores picture files then select a picture in that folder, The program will import all picture files.
3. Settings : click menu view > view options. At tab file association, define the file types you want this program to view.
At tab start, define what window you want this program to open when the program starts. The options are.
a. Blank screen
b. Startup screen : the window that you see for the first time you open this program.
c. The last displayed image
d. The default image : you have to define your own image by clicking browse to locate the image.
4. In the picture below, the left pane shows the thumbnails.
In the picture above, at the bottom, there are tools to view pictures. Click an arrow to view pictures. Click a clock button to auto play.
To use a keyboard or a mouse to view pictures, click menu tools > keyboard and mouse mappings. At key, select the key then at action select the action, such as the key is page down, the action is next image. Then click OK.
Favorite : click add directories then select a folder that stores pictures.
The picture information : move a mouse pointer over a thumbnail, the picture information shows.
5. To rename a file, double click a thumbnail then rename and press Enter.
To change file types and file names, click menu file > save options > at tab jpg and tab png > select the file quality > OK. Click menu file > file convert or rename > add > select files > at convert files to, select a file types.
This program can convert a file type to BMP, JPG PNG, PGM, PNM,PPM, TIF, JP2, GIF and HDF.
At rename files as, select the option you want. After you have finished all processes, you have new files. Your original files are untouched.

6. To measure a picture, at a toolbar, click a ruler button then click and drag on the picture.
W = width
H = high
L = the distance from the starting point to the end point.
7. To send a picture via E-mail, click menu tools > email > add pictures or click a thumbnail > send E-mail.
8. GIF animation : click menu file > portfolio manager > add to select pictures. At delay, set the speed per frame then click side show, name and locate a file. You can view a GIF animation file with the web browser such as the Internet Explorer.....Done !
