1. Installing : open your downloaded file. If it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click start > OK.
An offline CD Browser 3.1 window opens, close it.
A welcome window opens, click OK.
2. Click menu tools > preferences.
At behavioural options, to change where to store catalogues, check "custom storage path" then click browse...to select where you want.
3. Insert a CD, click menu file > new.
Make new catalogue window opens, click refresh drive list then select the name of the CD.
Click next...
A new window opens, at catalogue Name, name the catalogue of this CD.
At catalogue category, select the category of the CD.
To create your own category, click edit... then type a name of a category. Click add category label then click save changes.
At catalogue status, you can define where this CD is.
To create your own status, click edit... then type a name of a status. Click add status label then click save changes.
Click make catalogue and you have a catalogue file that has an extension "CDB".
4. To search a file in catalogue, click menu tools > search catalogues...
Then select a catalogue category in the left pane, at the right pane, check the check box.
Type what you are looking for at search by name then press Enter.
When you have a search result, arrange the columns like the picture below.
To move the column, click and hold a column name then move to where you want then release your fingers from a mouse.
In the picture above, The file I wanted is in a CD named CD_TEST. The CD_TEST is in the shelf 1.

5. To edit catalogue details, click menu tools > edit catalogue details... then select a catalogue name first at Catalogue details for. Edit what you want.
6. To update catalogue, click menu tools > update catalogues... then select a catalogue category in the left pane, check the check box in the right pane.
See the drive at column source path.
Insert the CD in the same drive then click update checked files
7. To export catalogue, Click menu "tools" > "export/encrypt catalogues ". Then check what you want to export from the right pane , select where to store a file and click export checked file button.
The exported file can be viewed by the internet browser.....Done !
