1. Installing : open downloaded file. If it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click install > finish
2. File readme.txt will open, close it. Then move your taskbar to the top of the screen by right clicking taskbar and remove a tick mark in front of lock the taskbar by clicking Lock the Taskbar . Then click and drag taskbar to move to the top of the screen and release your mouse.
3. Go to drive C > program files folder > Aqua Dock folder > open Aqua Dock.exe.
Dock moves slowly from the bottom of your screen.
4. Setting : right click dock ( don't right click program icons sitting on dock ) and then customise.
Appearance tab :
- you can change dock size and see the changes immediately.
- magnification is what you see when moving mouse over the program icon sitting on the dock.
Position tab : locate your dock.
Behavior tab : You can hide dock , lock dock and etc.
5. Adding icons : first you have to make sure that you don't lock the dock from adding, moving and deleting items.
You can add program icons, file icons and drive icons by clicking icon and holding down you mouse. Drag to the dock and release mouse.
6. Get what you want from aqua dock : click program icons or file icons to open them.
If you have folder icon sitting on dock, click folder icon and hold down mouse. Wait for a while , you will see menu showing what is inside that folder.
7. Customizing icon : you can change icon picture by following these steps
a. Prepare icon picture that has extension "png "or "ico"
b. Go to C:\Program Files\Aqua Dock
Then put icon pictures in icons folder.
c. At dock, right click icon you want to change and select customise icon. New window opens, you can change icon name here. Then select use icon in icons sub folder > click change icon > select icon > OK > close
8. Removing icon from dock : click icon and hold down mouse then drag icon out of the dock.....Done !
