1. Installing : open downloaded file. If it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click next > next > next > install > finish.
2. Click start > all programs > CubicExplorer > CubicExplorer.
3. Working on tabs : in the picture above, add more tab by clicking at number 1. To close tab, select tab and click at number 2
To make program open tabs that is opened before the last closing, click menu file > remember tabs on exit.
4. Address bar : in the picture above, you can copy everything shown in address bar by clicking Copy Dir Path button.
5. Quick view : to view picture files, click menu view > Quick View.
File supported are jpeg, jpg, png, pcx, bmp, gif, tiff, tif, psd, wmf, eps, cel and bw.
6. Bookmarks : in the picture above, to create bookmark, click New Category button at number 3, select the new category, then press F2 to rename.
Open your desired folder from Folder Browser, right click the category > click add.
7. Folder Browser : you can access files and folder from here. At number 4 is the new menu that allows you to create new kinds of file, such as new folder and new text document.
To copy file or folder path, select file or folder, then click Copy Path(s).
8. To know free space on each hard disk ; click menu view > disk space indicator.
At status bar it shows free space on hard disk.
9. Creating text document : Click paper button on toolbar,
new tab opens, click save and type what you want.
10. Changing theme : click menu view > themes > select theme.
11. Weak point : in search feature, if you have file "123.txt" , type 1 in search box and hit Enter, the search result is nothing.
You have to type 1* in search box and hit Enter the result is file "123.txt".....Done !
To organize files and folders : make a good plan, then cut or copy it to where you want. To organize your living is more complicated than that.
Get file browser freeware, before they turn to paid software.
