1. Installing : open a file xyplorer_4.40_Install.exe. If this file is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click OK > next > I agree > next > install > finish.
2. The program opens.
In the picture above, there is a tree view windows, tabs and a preview window.
3. Settings : press "F9" key.
At tab general : define what you want to show or hide.
At tab colors : change the color of parts such as tabs and a tree view.
At tab preview : at audio / video preview, if you select autoplay, the file will played automatically when it's selected.
If you select loop, to play a file, select a file then click the status bar like the picture below.
To stop, click the status bar.
At tab preview formats : select file types you want the program to preview.
At tab thumbnails : set the thumbnail size.
4. Right click a tab, menus show,
a. new tab : create a new tab.
b. lock tab : fix this tab. the name of a locked tab is underlined.
c. set visual filter : show the file type you set such as *.jpg.
To set box color, select a folder then click menu favorites > set box color > select color.
Renaming is so easy, select a file, press "F2" key.
In the picture above, this program will highlight only a file name then you can change a file name immediately just like MAC OS X.
To move a file, right click a file then select cut and go to the place you want then right click then select paste (move).
5. Tab find files : click tab Find Files, at tab name&location, define name and location then click Find Now.
To find texts contained in a file, click tab contained text then type the texts then click Find Now.
To save options you set for using in the future, click templates > save settings as > name a file > OK.
To use the the template, click templates > select the template > load template > Find Now.....Done !
