Instruction # 82 - ColorPic 4

1. Installing : open downloaded file. If it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click next > next > next > install.

Internet Explorer opens, close it and click finish.

2. Using prepared color : in the picture above,at number 1, click down arrow and select a palette prepared by program. The color will show at Chips, click color you want, the color you select will show at number 2 area.

You can copy color code in Hexadecimal at number 3 by clicking copy button.

To see color code in RGB ( Red Green Blue ), at Mixer, click down arrow at number 4.

3. Getting your own color : click new button, name the new Palette, then click OK.

Then at Chips, click a chip that is not stamped with the text " Grab ". Move cursor to desired color , make sure your desired color shows in the chip you selected. Then press and hold Ctrl and press G on keyboard, release your fingers. You will see the text " Grab" stamped on your desired color that is in the chip.

To change color you grabbed, click color stamped with text " Grab", then press and hold Ctrl and press G on keyboard, release your fingers. The text "Grab" is disappeared, move cursor to your desired color and do the grabbing color process as usual.

You can also grab your desired from mixer, open mixer, select the left tab then do the grabbing color process as usual.

To change a palette name, click edit button.
To delete a palette, click delete button.

4. Every palette in this program is kept in file " Palettes.xml". You should back up Palettes.xml by going to Drive C > Program Files > ColorPic 4.1. Then write Palettes.xml to a CD or other ways you want.....Done !
