1. Installing : open your downloaded file. If it is zipped, unzip with Good Zip Freeware and open it. Then click next > next > next > next > install
> next > finish.
2. Program opens.
In the picture above, click a yellow folder icon to import an image file.
File types this program supports are BMP, PNG, ICO, PSD, EXE, DLL and ICL. The maximum size is 128 x 128.

The right pane is a preview pane, in my case when I imported an image file, I got a picture like the picture below.
If you have a picture like mine, don't convert it to an icon.
3. To fix a picture before converting to an icon : at the left pane, right-click a picture then select edit transparency mask, select an eraser to delete black spots.
If you don't want to click and hold a mouse for a long time to delete black spots, get to Control Panel > Mouse > at tab buttons, check "turn on click lock" check box. Then click settings and slide the arrow close to the text "short" then click OK > Apply > OK.
From now on, you can click and hold a mouse then drag it for a short time then release your finger then move your mouse to delete black spots.
To get back to the normal state, click mouse one time.
4. After black spots are deleted, at the left pane, select that picture then click menu file > save as single icon(s). Then name and locate a file.
