Folder Size Explorer (FREE) - View Size of Folders and Organize Them on Windows

Windows Explorer that comes with Windows doesn't show size of folder in 'Details' view.

Right clicking at the target folder then select 'Properties' will show you the size of folder.

But if you want to see the size of multiple folders, it is a waste of time and you will end up with multiple windows of properties on the screen.

If you select multiple folder by holding down Control key, then right click and select 'Properties', you will get the total size of selected folders. That might not what you want.

There is no size of folder in 'Details' view, so you can not sort folders by size.

If files and folders are in the same folder, you can sort files by size, but all folders will be at the end of the list. That looks funny to me.

Someone says "Do you have to download the 3rd-party app to view size of folders?"
I think it depends on what you do, what you are working on. If it gets your task done faster, why not?

This free app show size of folder in MB,KB and GB. And it adds Windows Explorer's right-click menus so you don't have to make a switch for managing your stuff.
