Firefox Add-On - Bookmark a Specific Position of a Page on Windows 11

The limitations:

A. If a page is not fully loaded like YouTube, this add-on will not work.

B. If you are in a target page, bookmark is saved at zoom level of page: 100%, then zoom level is increased to 130%, this add-on will not work.

I had been searching this kind of app but found nothing so I created an AppleScript to do the job. The workflow: Check the url or page title (I don't recall) -> set size and position of the target window -> click a mouse at a scroll bar. My script lets users set name of a bookmark or use the selected text as a name. The script has the same limitations.

The test steps - Bookmark 1.1
OS: Windows 11 Home
Download and install from Firefox add-ons site

1. Go to the download page, click button 'Add to Firefox', the dialog in the picture below shows, click 'Add'

The dialog in the picture below shows, click 'Okay'

Its icon shows near the address bar.

2. Open a target page, go to the target position, click its icon, click +.

I don't know how to rename a bookmark.

To delete a bookmark, move a mouse over a bookmark and click X.

I closed a target page, and quit Firefox, then launched Firefox.

Clicked its icon, then clicked the button in the picture above.

Clicked a bookmark. The result is great.

Feature request: ability to rename a bookmark.

That's it for this article, I will search this kind of add-on for Google Chrome.
