Create Secure Vault and Encrypt Text/File with File Locker FREE on Win 11

It's very fast to get things done. It makes the encryption the normal thing to do.

1. Go to Microsoft Store, search 'file locker' then click 'Get'.

The button becomes 'Open', just click it.

In encode/decode text, paste the text to the box.

Click 'Encrypt Text'. You can copy the encrypted text from the 2nd box.

You can send the encrypted text to others, you have to figure out the secure way.

To decrypt text, paste it to the 2nd box, click 'Decrypt Text'.

The decrypted text will be in the first box.

You can use the password to encrypt/decrypt text but it limits to 8 characters. Just enter the password in the 3rd box and click encrypt or decrypt text.

2. In the section 'Encode Decode Files' has the similar user interfaces.

In the picture below is the file before encryption.

After encryption, its icon changes (see picture below)

This app doesn't create a new file after encryption.

If I open the encrypted .png file, the message shows below.

3. To create a secure vault, click 'Secret Vault File Hider'.

Click 'Open Hidden Vault'.

 

Set password and email, then click 'Submit'

The message shows.

Click 'OK'

Set fake password.

If you access the vault with fake password, your files will not shown.

The vault is open. I log outed.

 

Enter password in the search box to access the vault.

I dragged and dropped a file to the vault, it said 'Move' but it copied my file to the vault.

To move files, I must use the menu 'Add Files...'

I moved a file by right clicking at the file, selected 'Export (Move)'.

Selected a target folder.

I did not see the option to lock the app but the secure vaults has no problem with my 98-character password.
