Windows Freeware Guide: Mouse Pointer Highlight - Highlight Mouse Pointer FREE on Windows 11

On a big computer screen, you might not see the pointer easily. Normally people move a pointer around in order to see it, I hope this app will prevent that action to make things easier.

In a presentation or a how-to video, this app might make things interesting to watch but not everyone loves it. Someone finds it annoying because it gets in the way of seeing other objects.

Carefully using this kind of app in the presentation is the way to go:
- Make sure it won't cover other important object.
- Don't let it draw interest from your point.

Get it from Microsoft Store

1. Open Microsoft Store and search Mouse Pointer Highlight and click a 'Get' button.

Wait a while then click 'Open'.

The program window showed.

I clicked 'About', saw 'Mouse Highlight' as its name but in the Microsoft Store, it is 'Mouse Pointer Highlight'.

2. This app allows users to add highlight and enable 'Click Highlight'. You can set color, size of circle and opacity. In 'Click Highlight', there is a check box 'Enable'. I just doubted why they don't add the option to disable or enable to 'Mouse Highlight' section because when selecting text with the mouse, I think a color circle gets in the way.

I did not have to click 'Apply Setting', just set size in the box and pressed 'Enter', setting was applied.

There was no issue in both 'Mouse Highlight' and 'Click Highlight' section.

The color circle is conved by the taskbar (see the picture below).

I captured screen with Lightscreen in 'area' mode, the color circle was freezed and a mouse pointer was changed to a hand. There is another pointer that had a '+' shape, I used this '+' shape to set the area to capture (see the picture below).
